July 1, 2015 ~ Walking through the door, it’s immediately clear this will be a unique shopping experience. The Enchanted Fairy Garden greets you with a sweet sanctuary of crystals, twinkling lights, live plants and soothing sounds from the waterfall fountain.
Positive energy permeates the entire store from the serene environment to the soothing sounds. Soft aromas from essential oils, handmade soaps, candles and incense calm and lift your spirits. Each product and service is carefully selected to inspire you to reclaim your well-being and bring your ‘vibes’ up to joy. The store features crystals and gemstones, holistic and alternative well-being tools, essential oils, natural stone jewelry and beads and inspirational artisan gifts. In addition, they offer classes, events and retreats.
“It’s about reminding people of their true nature and how spiritual and vibrational imbalances can manifest in physical ways,” explains Rock Shop owner, Susan K. Edwards. “With our products and services we inspire people to surround themselves with positive energy, reduce their stress and generally feel better.”
Less than a year old, the Wildhair Studios’ Rock Shop in Historic Downtown Paducah, Kentucky has already outgrown its original location at 209 Broadway. The move to 311 Broadway July 1st allows the Rock Shop to expand from 400 sq. ft. to 3,600 sq. ft., to better meet the needs of its customers.
The 1,800 sq. ft. first floor is designated for retail, with space for workshops, demonstrations and events. The 1,800 sq. ft. retreat center on the second floor features a massage therapist, energy work, reflexology and intuitive readings. The retreat center will also host spiritual and wellness retreats. Additionally, the space can be rented for corporate and executive retreats and workshops.
